The South African Scout Association has been dedicated to building the character an citizenship of the youth for more than a century. This is done in a learning by doing advancement programme combined with the promise and law.

The kids are here for outdoor adventure, comradeship, a sense of achievement and to gain exposure to new interests, leadership training and so on, but for more detail;
